Advanced Technology

Minimally invasive procedures using cutting edge technology.

Dr Wood has a keen interest in all aspects of Paediatric ENT, including sleep disordered breathing, head and neck masses, nasal disorders and ear disease.  His special interests include the management of paediatric airway disorders, airway reconstruction and dysphagia.

Following completion of his surgical training, he conducted a fellowship in Paediatric ENT at the prestigious Starship Children's Hospital, with a special interest in paediatric airway disorders, and the management of salivary gland disease.

He has public appointments at the Women's and Children’s Hospital, and Flinders Medical Centre, and conducts outreach clinics in Port Augusta.

This means that we are able to offer many procedures under local anaesthesia with comfort and improved safety.

At present Dr Theo is the only fellowship trained laryngologist in Adelaide. He has particular experience in treating voice box disorders and has performed hundreds of vocal cord injections and laser procedures under local anesthetic.
